ETI 228-065 Thermapen IR Infrared Thermometer with Foldaway Probe
Two instruments in one – ETI’s 228-065 Thermapen IR is both an infrared, non-contact digital thermometer and a direct contact penetration thermometer.
Combining together the capabilities of ETI’s popular RayTemp 2 Plus infrared thermometer and the Thermapen 4 digital probe thermometer, the Thermapen IR is suitable for use in a wide variety of different temperature applications, particularly in the food industry as a means of checking food temperatures.
Thanks to the two included modes, you can either use the infrared mode to scan temperatures without direct contact, or you can get a more accurate results by actually inserting the probe. The thermometer is coated as standard with ETI’s Biomaster additive which is designed to reduce the growth of bacteria.
This digital thermometer can measure temperatures from -49.9 to 349.9°C in infrared mode or from -49.9 to 299.9°C in probe mode.
