Description

Bagasse food containers are made from 100% plant-based sugarcane fibre, providing a sustainable alternative to traditional disposable packaging. They are fully compostable, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly.

Manufactured from natural sugarcane pulp, these 6-inch burger boxes are strong, durable, and suitable for hot, cold, wet, and oily foods. They are ideal for burgers, sandwiches, kebabs, salads, and a wide range of street food.

The exterior has a lightly textured finish for improved grip, while the smooth interior helps prevent food from sticking and provides resistance to sauces and oils. These containers are designed for takeaway and immediate consumption rather than long-term food storage or display.

Bagasse material also offers excellent heat insulation, helping to keep food warm during transport or delivery. Each box features a hinged lid with a tab closure for secure handling. Please note, while secure, the closure is not leakproof—liquids or sauces may spill if the container is tipped.

What Are Bagasse Containers?

Bagasse is a natural by-product of the sugar production process. After sugarcane stalks are harvested, they are pressed to extract their juice, which is then processed into sugar. The remaining dry fibrous material (bagasse) is collected and repurposed.

Using a high heat and pressure process, this material is moulded into durable, eco-friendly food packaging such as containers, plates, and bowls.
